{"id":4231,"date":"2023-02-14T12:52:26","date_gmt":"2023-02-14T12:52:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asprodev.wpengine.com\/?p=4231"},"modified":"2023-02-28T16:52:52","modified_gmt":"2023-02-28T16:52:52","slug":"world-energy-day-the-road-to-energy-transition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aspro.com\/en\/dia-mundial-de-la-energia-el-camino-hacia-la-transicion-energetica\/","title":{"rendered":"World energy day: towards the energy transition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As established by the United Nations in 1949, World Energy Day is commemorated every February 14 with the aim of promoting the use of alternative sources of energy and reducing the use of non-renewable energies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although there is much talk about how beneficial clean energies are for the environment and the notable increase in the participation of this type of energy, the truth is that there is still a long way to go to be able to depend 100% on them. It is in this process that CNG can play a key role in making the transition cleaner and more economically sustainable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-el-gnc-comparado-con-otros-combustibles\">CNG compared to other fuels<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>First of all, gas produces carbon dioxide emissions between 50 and 60% less than coal, which is one of the main sources of energy in the world's largest economies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this aspect, Argentina is more than favorably positioned. Currently our energy matrix shows that the largest source of energy is gas, followed by oil, and in last place we can see renewable energies such as solar, wind and hydro.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of transportation, which is responsible for 20% of the world's carbon dioxide emissions, gas also presents considerable advantages that place it as a favorable option on the road to energy transition.
